Scrap camp LOs

Decided not to sew on these ones after all. Only have one to sew on but will get to that yet.

First LO is Quinny in a shot i have been meaning to scrap since the last camp. Rach kindly gave me the pp. Finally got to try a CM circle cutter for this - thanks Jo :)

Next up is his nibs when he was almost one, I bought a roll of b&w film and this is one of my fave pics from that film. Love the SR with this and again the circle cutter. Used a HS ghost clock and a Ikandee tie for the hands. I think this is my fave LO at the mo.

Right onto Aislinn, this one is an Elsie scraplift of sorts, I got to look at Rach's Elsie book and was hugely inspired, this was soo easy to do and i lifted the quote from another LO in the book. I think this would be the only ideas book I'd wanna buy.

Lastly this is another bean LO, I took this pic at Lollipops when we were there with Lizzy and the kids for Q's bday. Love this shot. THis LO was nearly in the bin after I stuffed up the doodling and instead of the tiny zigzags had big huge ones (told ya my brain was on holiday at scrap camp!) after trying undu with no success had to cut around it and attach it to another bit of CS. I am happy with it though.

Now a couple of pics from this afternoon. Took the kids up to Kelly and Marty's to see the girls new pony. Well I say new but he is 30 years old and almost ready for the knackers yard. Aislinn had 2 rides on him - she is so horse mad, I can see we will have to buy her one eventually *gasp*

And now for NZ's next idol drumroll please for Quinn Mortensen!!!

Well that's about us. have a good weekend all!

Photoshoot yet more pics (and lots of em!)

Yeah I know i still haven't sewn my LOs from scrap camp and posted em on here, but dear readers I have had a photo shoot with the kidlets this afternoon and have some nice piccys of my angelic looking ratbags to share ;)

This one is soo my fave of the whole memory card I filled - yep Bron all 146 pics!! Well some of em were of the helicopter bucketing the paddocks but won't bore you with that. Don't they look gorgeous in this pic?? Love love love it!

Next up is aptly titled Doggy Slobber - whenever you kiss Q he goes "ewww doggy slobber!" onya Tazzy!!

Love this one too, have printed it off for a LO. Love the light on the back of her head.

THis is my silly boy being well you get the picture....

Aislinn and i found an abandoned birds nest complete with 2 very cold eggs in it. Couldn't get a shot of the nest with the big lens on will have to go out when i get off here and use the little lens and grab a pic, here is bean with the eggs though.

I reckon in this one Q looks suddenly bigger or something.

Lastly a very cool pic of a bee - do you realise it is Quite hard to catch a bee like this they move darn fast about the flowers.

Nothing really happening here, Peter has a job interview on Friday in Carterton - wish us luck, we might yet get outta Apiti before xmas!!

Gotta love scrap camp!!

I had the best weekend!! Got home yesterday afternoon after a weekend scrapping in Pahongina at Scrap camp. for those of you unfortunate enough not to have been to it, it is a weekend of scrapping at the Highland Christian camp and is run by the lovely Jo Burney and the lovely Jeanette Wieringa. Totally huge fun, loads of shopping (well for Pauline! My dh made me leave the money at home - cursed man!!)
I completely forgot to pack my mojo and was having a total brain fart all weekend. I was able to pick out a pic and that was about it, I had to keep pestering poor Jo, Margo and Rach for a kickstart all weekend (I am sure I was being a bit of a pineapple and they must have been getting sick of me indeed) but I hugely appreciate all their help or I would have got nothing done - like Lou perhaps??

In the end I scrapped 5 LOs, did my wooden word for my scraproom and a door hanger for bean for xmas so did well despite being braindead.

Ok haven't done the sewing on the LOs so will get them on here tis week some time, I do have the BTP stuff for ya though.

Here is my wooden word - I know create is so original isn't it??? For those not in the know you can get these wooden words or single letters from the fab Dave the Letterman at 0800 162 848. I got mine through Up2Scrap at SENZ. Luckily Jo had some 3bugs for sale that were perfect for the job and it looks amazing on my wall.

Next is my door hanger, I decided to make some for the kids for xmas. This is Bean's, I think it looks quite cute. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do to Q's so will get onto that this week.

Speaking of Up2Scrap it is out this week, the Sharee Mortensen issue as I have so much in it this time - including my xmas card on the cover - go me go me!! Will have to frame that one methinks!! I have 2 single LOs, my double from the dt entry and my card so am hogging the issue ROFL!!I have news too, as you know I didn't make it onto the design team - unsurprising considering the amazing ladies who did. But they have kindly appointed me as a junior designer and they want me to focus on card making so I will be working with the lovely Charlotte Whitta and hopefully making some cool cards.

There is some fab work in this issue, I love Rach's LOs - need to get more SR! And after seeing them IRL this weekend I am more inspired to get into more bright LOs. Loved Yolande's xmas boxes and cool cards. And check out Lara's fab altered xmas gummie - can see a pair of those on the hearth.

Well my brain is still trying to go to sleep so will leave it there, had a blast, always good to catch up with the girls and meet all the new faces. Here we all are in all our lovelyness - see how many people you know.

Pineapple anyone??

Last DT LOs to share

The FK elite team has been announced - congrats ladies! Most especially to the lovely Erica GLover - woohoo! Goes to show a mum of 6 can still get an entry together with a newborn!

So consequently I am gonna share my entry with y'all. (if I can remember what I sent in LOL) Can't wait to get em all back either roll on January!

This is the first one I did. didn't think I would ever end up using the BG colour me silly but it went so well with this pic of Q, lots of digital brushes on the pic, Zina inspired title. Not girly at all methinks.

number 2 was created with my first Tarisota pack, you can't see it very well but there is a fishing line strung across the page. It is probably my least fave of the LOs but I do love the pic - you'd think he'd actually been fishing for longer than it took to take the pic!

I just love this next one, many many hours of handstitching and beading on this. I wanted to reflect the rays of the sun and the BG fusion went so well with this pic of Aislinn at sunset at the beach. Huge flower is Prima.

Another fave, Q dressed up as a pirate, I stitched lots of shapes onto this one and more zina inspired journalling.

I can't find the 5th, must have mailed it off without scanning it which is unusual for me!

3 more sleeps till scrap camp - woohoo!!!

More LOs for ya..

Had technical probs the other day so couldn't put em all on here - try again today.

First up is my single LO for Scrapbook Essentials, which had to reflect me as a scrapper. I went on a tangent and did it about my being a messy scrapper - no surprises there LOL. My first poppet doll too - very scary!!

Now for the double LO, I just love this. I took the pics of Aislinn a few weeks back and when these new crate paper pp arrived in the october Tarisota I knew they were just what I needed for these pics. Loving the paisley chipboard too.

This is my BTP, this is probably the only good idea I will ever get - I so suck at BTP! I couldn't find a birdhouse for love nor money and ended up getting Dad to build me one (Q supervised LOL)It is intended for Aislinn's room when I have a shelf high enuf that the kids won't wreck it!

Another LO I knocked up the other day, Bronny introduced me to Daisy d's for my birthday - loving it! As Quinn had his proper cake the day before, I made a trifle with the left over cake after carving up a snake. So popped the candles in it for him to blow out. (Did the same thing with a pink lamington for Aislinn's birthday LOL)

Our trip to Palmy on Sat was a blast, the kids loved seeing Payton and Hunter and they had a blast at Lollipops (but man is that place expensive!) It was great to see Lizzie again too. After lunch at Maccas we went to Shaun's to meet my new neice, aww she is soo gorgeous - and no I didn't get clucky! By the time we got groceries it was a long day. I took lotsa pics which I must resize to put on here.

More huge congrats from me firstly to my darlin friend CarrieAnne and her partner John on the arrival of a wee girl on Sunday - she was nameless last I heard. I am hanging out for pics - HINT!! Also to the lovely Jo Burney who was one of the lucky ones who made it onto the Scrapbook Essentials DT (and the other girls of course!)

Some random pics for ya now, firstly the Aislinn dressed up in Quinny's dressup's that we gave him for his birthday - unfortunately they are a little snug! Ahoy there!!

How the west was won??

Payton and Hunter in the balls at Lollipops - my fave pic of the day.

Lastly my ratbags caught in the linen cupboard after trashing it 3 times in one afternoon - can you say sh*tty mummy??

HAve a good hump day!
