Greetings from the wonderful Wairarapa!

Yeehah!! We have been in our new house for a week now and it is time I came out of the pile of boxes and updated this thing for you all. That is if you are still reading despite the fact I hardly ever update it.

I am enjoying this being a 2 minute drive from town lark - sooo fab!! It literally takes me 2 minutes to drive the kids to school and kindy, 5 minutes to get to the centre of Carterton and 10 minutes to get to the edge of Masterton - soooo cool!! Mind you it is hurtin the old wallet ROFL!!

The house is actually bigger than it initially looked and the only thing that didn't fit in was my huge big TV cabinet (well it would have fitted but blocked out a few windows), I am slowly getting everything straight - man it is a mission! I know i don't need to panic about it but I wanna have a nice tidy house without it being cluttered up with boxes. Mind you half of the boxes I wanted to find (photos in frames and ornamental stuff) is all in my dad's garage. It is a cold house though, no carpet on any of the bedroom floors but ours and the fire certainly doesn't heat up the bedrooms, but it will be lovely come the warmer weather. We got l;ucky on moving day and it was gorgeous here with not a cloud in the sky - and it has rained everyday since LOL I think we brought the Apiti weather with us.

Quinn started school on Monday, he was a bit nervous at first but by the time I picked him up at the end of the day he was fine. He seems to be enjoying it and his teacher Mrs King is quite nice. He says he has made some friends - Nick and a boy in a black shirt LOL. He was so good he got to bring home the class toy puppy for the weekend - I am just hoping he will give it back. He looks so cute in his uniform and it makes life easier that he has one I tell ya.

Peter started work on monday too. He has been fencing on the run off (where we live) and getting firewood in. I guess he is enjoying it, he seems happy to be on his own unsupervised.

Aislinn started kindy on Thursday, she was really unsure about it all. She has a male teacher Dylan which is a rarity these days, he seems really nice and great with the kids. She was taken under the wings of Charlotte and Georgiana a set of twins who are totally full on and loud, which I think overwhelmed her a bit. She wouldn't let me leave the first day which I found so boring and cold, trying to keep away from her so she could find her feet. I told her on friday I would leave at mat time and she was happy for me to do that. Dylan said she went well and seemed to settle in ok. She told me she sat on her own cos nobody would play with her. I told her she need to go up and introduce herself and ask if she can play with them. It will be interesting to see how she goes this week. Here she is all ready for kindy.

I have a few pics from our last week in Apiti to share. First up is the kids and Quinn's mate Huntah palying on the tramp.

Quinn and Huntah together...

Aislinn and her new toy Pinkiepie the talking baby pony - soo the perfect toy for her!!

This week I made some creatures, the No8 wired NZ dares blog dare was to make cute critters and this is my fave of the ones I made for the kids. Quinn drew a monster and I made him out of felt. I called it Crocketty Lemon. I may have to make one for me LOL.

Man this broadband thing is fab! Makes uploading pics onto here a snap! Here are some embarrassing ones from camp.

This is Lou my own personal stalker! I think she could be my number one fan and a lovely lady to boot. She is modelling our "I just finished a page" wear which if you are wearing when the buzzer goes you win a prize.

This one is Jeanette in the same fetching outfit. Jeanette is the lady who organises our camps and without her they would be very quiet affairs as we are all shy and reserved and she is most of all ROFL!!

This one is Anthea and her friend (who I apologise I have forgotten the name of) dressed up for our black and white themed evening on Saturday night - they of course won! In the middle is the very talented Ruth. I must scrap this pic ;)

Right must go unpack something!! Will have to update again when I have finished sorting out this scraproom and can get some work done!
