One time when I was at Scrap Camp.....

Hey Everyone! I have finally finished handsewing all the layouts I did at scrap camp this past weekend. So now I get to share - might take a few posts cos I ended up doing 15 pages and a mini album!!!!! Gasp!

I think this camp was the best out of the three I have been to. We decided to get more scrapping in by starting on thursday night and going through till sunday and it made it more relaxed and less stressy on sunday IMO. I had a blast and have some truly embarrassing photos to share - if you have any I'd like to see do email me. But first we will share LOs :)

I finally got my hot little hands on some of the new SR Laurel - my total new fave!! I started off with this mini album using a Maya Road 4x4 album. I wanted to make an album about all the little things we say in our family. I ran out of ideas but since thought of a few more so need to buy more - darn it all ;) Here is the cover.

I will spare you and only show you one inner page. Used up nearly an entire pack of these MM wee stickers too :(

So much was I loving the laurel pps that I finally after 4 years of scrapping decided to scrap an actual birthday pic of one of my kids LOL!! Also finally got my hands on a HS daisy mask - thanks Helen! This was also the start of my circle obsession throughout the weekend- I owe Monica a box of chocolate fish for letting me use her CM circle cutters all weekend. Rub ons are Urban Lily.

This next one is a scraplift of a Kerrin Quall page I found in an old FK. Love this pic of Quinn and Peter - especially the huge dribble!! PP is Junkitz, rub on is fab new velvet HS ones I bought at camp.

This one is my adorable neice Greer, I love how this page turned out. I won the chipboard circle from the fine box :) The 'girl' in the title was using the cricut - I so need one. But I only used the one at camp once! DOH!! I stamped the background with a script stamp which I now need to go and buy LOL. PP is chatterbox, I also need to get these swirly stamps that I borrowed off Jo hehe;)

Now for my darling children - don't they look so innocent in this pic?? This was taken at easter last year. I couldn't have done this page without the generosity of my new friend Sandra - she kindly gave me the Heidi grace paper and the HG chipboard hearts too - thanks soooo much Sandra :)

This next one was for the black and white challenge - not strictly black and white but as close as I get. First time I have ever used Urban Lily papers. I have had this pic for over 2 years in my to be scrapped pile. My baby being styley :)

This is my fave page from the weekend. I saw Lou (my personal stalker) doing a cool page using this doodling technique and wanted to try it, she pointed me to Krislyn who had done one too - apparently it was from an online class taught by the fab Chris Millar on SO - thanks Chris loving this!! Anyhoo, I spent hours looking for the right papers before Kris came to my rescue with this blue that perfectly matches Q's eyes - onya Kris! Stars are cut out from a Laurel pp, sizzix title - love love love this :)

Ok enuf LOs for now, my brilliance will overwhlem you all ROFL!!

Today we had Quinn's cross country at Waituna west school. He did so well he came 8th and he managed to beat 4 or 5 other boys - I was so hoping he'd beat someone cos he kept asking me why he kept coming last in parctice. He cracked everyone up with his unique running stlye - he runs with his hands up under his chin -soooo funny!! Here is a pic of him during the race. They had to run a long way (900m I think) and he ran the whole thing and I am one proud mummy I tell ya :)

I think I forgot to mention on here that we are moving.... back home to Greytown!! WOOHOOO!!! We move on the 9th of June - getting closer! We went down on Tuesday to check out the house and the school and kindy. I was disappointed in the house cos it is darn small inside - I am not sure my dining suite will fit and can't quite figure out where the fridge will go. Here is a pic of the kids outside the house.

Quinn will be in for a culture shock when he starts school, there are only 24 kids at Apiti school, and 310 at Greytown school!! he has to wear a uniform so we have bought that - he wants to wear it to school to show the kids.

They are however psyched about this.....

Aunty Jo and Uncle Bruce have built a new deck on their place and it has a hot tub - my kids LURVE swimmin in the hot tub!! They had to try it out while we visited!

Well better go shower and change I am off to get pished at mine and Kelly's farewell bash at the Kim Cafe
